Martin Cresswell
Martin Cresswell is a results driven leader with 40 years’ experience working across both private and public sectors. Martin has a successful track record in growing businesses that work with local and central government to deliver high quality outcomes with a particular focus on culture change, operational improvement and innovation, and value for money.
He has expertise in delivering market leading change programmes in complex environments that require the management of multiple professional and political stakeholders.
After a career in local government covering housing, education and finance, Martin held senior positions at both Deloitte and KPMG where he was the lead commercial advisor on major deals, lead major transformation programmes across all services including social care, corporate services, and environmental services.
Until recently Martin was CEO of the award winning consultancy IMPOWER and a Non-Executive Director of the New Local Government network, and recently co-authored a report for the County Council Network on Climate Change Action.
Martin is a qualified accountant and remains an independent coach and consultant and is a judge for the Management Consultancy Association Annual Industry Awards.
